We not only sell beautiful plants and a curated inventory of tools and supplies, but we also provide these select services:


Consulting / Design Services

The term “consulting” can mean many different things, even within our industry. For us, consulting consists of giving professional advice, including plant and product selection, use and placement recommendations, and small-scale landscape planning. The process can be as simple as helping you select a few plants or it can be more complex and require a sketch and estimate. When it comes to consulting on landscape projects, we only accept projects that are modestly sized, low maintenance, and plant-focused. We do not provide conventional landscape design services, including computer-generated or scaled plans. We also do not provide installation or maintenance services, but customers who use our consulting service can be paired with one of our trusted contractors.

The following are the two types of consulting services we provide…

Mini Consultation

This service is for customers who need dedicated time with a consultant, think one-on-one Q&A and personal shopper all in one. There is no fee for this service; however, you must make an appointment. On average, each mini consultation is about 15 - 30 minutes, during which time the consultant can answer your questions, shop the store with you, make suggestions, give design and placement recommendations, etc. No sketches or estimates will be given as a part of this service. Traditional Consultation

This service is for customers who need dedicated time with a consultant as well as a sketch and/or plant estimate. There is no fee for this service, but the purchase of a $150 gift card is required to book an appointment. Each appointment is about 45min - 1 hour during which time our consultant will review the project to get a feel for your likes, dislikes, and overall goal for the project. After your appointment, our consultant will create your simple sketch and plant estimate based on the information you provided during the initial consultation. They will make (1) complimentary revision for you, but subsequent revisions are $75 each (the initial gift card purchased is not applicable toward revisions). Please keep in mind, we only consult on landscape projects one area at a time (aka front yard, back yard, etc.) and do not provide comprehensive landscape design for the entire property in one consultation. Delivery Services

We offer three types of delivery to the zip codes listed below. Most items we sell are available for delivery unless otherwise noted on the price tag.

General Delivery - Zone A $15, Zone B $30, Zone C $45

This service is for items that weigh less than 40lbs and are no larger than 36” tall by 40” wide in total.  If the order consists of mulch and/or soil, then up to six bags total of our largest size can qualify for the general delivery rate.

Van Delivery - Zone A $50, Zone B $75, Zone C $100

This service is for all larger orders and items requiring a team lift or our van to deliver.

Christmas Tree Delivery - Zone A $20, Zone B $40, Zone C $60

This service is for all Christmas trees and is available during the holiday season. One tree is included in the service and any additional tree 6 ft. or taller will be an additional $5 per tree to deliver.

Delivery Disclaimer

Payment for our delivery service is required prior to delivery. Deliveries are not scheduled at the time of payment.  Our office staff will call to schedule delivery within one day of payment (excluding weekends). 

The Plant Kingdom will take normal precautions while delivering your items; however, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to appropriately prepare the area and clear a path to the item(s) final location. The Plant Kingdom is not responsible for any damage that may result to any portion of the property during or after the delivery, nor do we provide clean up services.  If you are in need of in-home/white glove delivery you should contact Store to Door, 502-376-4636, storetodoor.us

We do deliver the fountains we sell but prepping the area where the fountain will sit, including grading and electricity, is not a part of this service. We will only set-up fountains on a level surface. If the area is not prepared and level upon our arrival, our team will only be able to place the fountain and its parts nearby. If you need assistance preparing the area for the fountain, we would recommend calling an electrician or business offering home repair or grading services.

If the delivery is a gift, we must also have the contact information (including phone number) of the recipient to schedule the delivery. 

We require permission from the purchaser to leave any item at the delivery address if no one is home to receive the delivery. The Plant Kingdom is not responsible for the item(s) once it/they has/have been left by our delivery team. If permission to leave the item(s) has not been given and no one is home to receive the delivery, then the item(s) will return to The Plant Kingdom. If the customer wishes for our team to re-deliver an additional delivery fee must be paid. The customer may also choose to pick up the item(s) rather than pay the additional fee, but the original delivery fee is non-refundable.

This is a specialized service we provide to customers needing a plant, disease, pest, or other plant-related issue identified.

This service is only available in store and via email. We do not have a diagnostician available at all times we are open, therefore, appointments are recommended for in-store identification and diagnosis and can be made by emailing an appointment request using the form below.

Sometimes a diagnosis cannot be made over email with photos, so we may schedule an appointment for you to bring in a sample to be examined in person and/or under a magnifying lens.

Repotting Services

This is a service we provide customers needing a containerized houseplant or tropical repotted into a new container. Our repotting service is available year-round, but in general, the best time to re-pot a plant is May-August.

We will not re-pot bonsai or large cactus (10” pot or larger). Any plants repotted by our team are not guaranteed, including the existing pot, as it may have to be broken to remove the existing plant. Labor fees for this service are determined individually by the project.

Repotting Existing Plants:
An existing plant is one that you currently have in your possession. Size and plant health are key factors in determining if we can provide the service for your existing plant; therefore, you must first provide a photo of the plant to be repotted, so that we can determine if we can complete the job. No plant can be brought in and dropped off without going through this vetting process first. Photos can be emailed here.

Once the plant has been vetted and approved, you must then select a new pot before the service is scheduled. The fee for this service depends on the size of the new pot and if specialized techniques, extended time, and/or specialty soil are required and an estimate will be given once the new pot has been selected.

If your job is approved for repotting, we will schedule a date for you to drop off your plant. Payment for this service is due upon pickup or before delivery. Customers are required to pick up within one day of completion. Larger plants that cannot be transported upright after we have repotted them must be delivered (an additional fee applies).

Repotting New Plants:
Our “new plant” repotting service applies only to plants being repotted at the time of purchase. Size and type of plant are key factors in determining if we will provide this service for your new plant. Repotting can cause stress on a plant; therefore, we do not generally recommend repotting newly purchased plants for at least 6-12 months to allow enough time for them to recover from the stress of adjusting to their new environment in your home. We will still provide this service upon request after cautioning. Larger plants that cannot be transported upright must be delivered, otherwise, we will not repot them.

Repotting jobs of new plants are free of charge when purchasing the plant and soil from us. If you need or would like delivery, this will be an additional fee. The new pot can be brought in or purchased from us. Depending on the season and team availability, this service could occur at the time of purchase, but generally requires you to come back to pick it up either the same day or the next day. Customers are required to pick up their plant within one day of completion. Any remaining soil not used will be sent home with you, as well.

Mixed Container Planting Services

This is a service we provide to customers needing a mixture of plants potted into a container together and is available year-round for customers who have chosen the plants themselves or with our help on the sales floor. Appointments are recommended if you would like assistance selecting from our current inventory. Appointment requests can be made through the form below.

Once the plant material has been selected, a more exact estimate can be given on how much it will cost for us to plant, but the minimum cost to plant is $75. Payment for this service, including plants, materials, and labor will be due upon pickup. The average turnaround time for this service is 3-5 days (excluding weekends), but between April 15 th and May 31 st , this time is extended to 6-10 days (excluding weekends). Once the planting is complete you will receive a call and are required to pick it up within 2 days. If you choose to or need to have the container(s) delivered, there will be an additional fee.

If you need more assistance selecting plants than we can offer on the sales floor or would like us to design it completely you must go through our traditional consulting service. Labor fees for this service are determined individually by the project and an estimate will be given as a part of our traditional consulting service.
