The Plant Kingdom personal services exist to provide professional horticulture service to people living in the Kentuckiana area. We respect plants and gardens as integral living components of our urban ecology. We stress total plant healthcare through intelligent selection, placement, and maintenance.
As consultants, we echo this message of “right plant, right place”. Our goal is to educate clients and help them make informed decisions about new and existing plants and their care.

The Personal Gardener
Personalized horticulture services available include: pruning, plant removal, weeding, mulching, planting/transplanting/dividing, bed preparation with organic amendments and pest control with organic solutions.
Our Personal Gardeners are also qualified to assist with plant identification, pest and weed identification, as well as landscape renovations and plant selections. Some diagnosis and identification may not be possible on site, and may require follow-up.
Personal Gardeners are also available to assist with your original ideas and plans for your garden space.
All Personal Gardener packages include: free delivery within a three-mile radius, and a one-time 10% discount on plant material.
Horticulture Consulting
Professional advice is available through our Horticulture Consultations. For an hourly rate, you receive straightforward and easy to understand plant recommendations, landscape ideas, diagnosis and overall garden analysis. Sketches and recommendations made on site are yours to keep. Designs requiring additional office time will be billed accordingly.
